Florida Hospital Center for Thrombosis Research scientists have been invited to present the results of their studies at the 5th International Conference on Thrombosis and Hemostasis Issues in Cancer to be held in Stresa, Italy, in April 2010.
Dr. John Francis, Director of the Center for Thrombosis Research is a co-author on a paper entitled "Heparin-platelet factor 4 antibodies in intensive care patients: An observational seroprevalence study" recently accepted for publication in the Journal of Thrombosis and Thrombolysis. The work was a collaboration with Dr. Robert Levine of the University of Texas Medical School.
