Drugs That Affect Hemostasis

There are now numerous agents available that are designed to interact with the hemostatic system. In general, such agents may be divided into those that treat or prevent clotting (thrombosis) and those that treat or prevent bleeding.

This section of our web site will be permanently under construction and information on new agents will be added as it becomes available. We hope that it will be a useful resource for those wishing to obtain more information on the growing number of agents that fall into these categories. Please note that all intended uses and dosages should be confirmed by reference to the product insert or company representative.
